I'm reminded of the USA-based magazine, "Consumer Reports," which tests commercial products, from tooth paste to computers to cars to you-name-it. They allow no advertising in their magazine and accept no money from anyone but their subscribers. Also, they do not allow their results to be used as part of any advertisements by companies. Their tests are carefully designed and carried out and their results are free of dollar-driven bias. Wish we had something like that for our computer-chess purposes. Robert
