Go up one level in this thread

Hi Larry:
I could bet my year income that nothing of the sort will be possible.
Excpeto in particular, half serious and half funny ocassions, GMI are
not very prone to risk his enormous egoes in that kind of competitions
with such kind of sane and easy going rivals as are computers.Anybody
that knows GMI knows I am right: this is not people like you and me
-well, I suppose you and me are not GMI- with normal levels of egotism
and some humour to take our shortcomings; they are louzy people,
maniatic people, untractable people. They put all his life in a wood
board and that take his toll. To lose against a furniture? Never! To
give the slight suspicioin they are playing serious? Never! Let a
program play better than they in serious mode, without the ambiance of a
show? Never! Never...at laest you puit so much money as necesary to
overcome his egotistics consideratiosn of fame and honour.
Maybe I am mistaken, but that's my feeling.
Fernando
