>To reach both conclusions you need many more games against many more >opponents, both, for Fritz 5 and for CST. Manual, of course. Don't be so impatient. We will play more games. >Not quite. 19 games are not statistically as valid as 19. And ratings >are based on statistics... I have only posted my CSTal games so far enrique. I have many other opponent games too. I first have to collect them because they are all in different databases on different machines. Be patient. The number of games will increase. >As for "cheating", who is cheating? Look into the ICCA journal, page 70. The Fritz5 ELO is in brackets. It looks I am not the only person on this world who believes the results are somehow strange. The autoplayer is not publically available. The executable is not publically available. The system is not confirmed by the other programmers who have supported ssdf-guys over the years e.g. by sending free-units of software. The ssdf-guys have to delete the CB-autoplayer games. Otherwise they lose all credibility and the support of all other programmers. No programmer will send a free-version or even allows his program to be tested against Fritz is the system is not open and publically available like the austrian autoplayer by Chrilly Donninger. You cannot win this battle Enrique. The decision to accept this autoplayer was a step over the edge ! Only NOT counting the games is a change to come back to normal values. How can you defend that this autoplayer is a hidden device. That is NOT SCIENTIFIC. The results are not counting as long as they use this device. In the moment they use the normal auto232 autoplayer device and Fritz is still rank No.1 all the trouble is away. IF ! But still than you have to explain me why Cstal is number one too. :-) (and why all other unfamous opponents kill fritz5 easily). > >>:-)) > >:) > >>I will later present my data (so far) of OTHER opponents playing vs. >>Fritz5.01. Here Fritz5 is also >>losing nice. >> >> >>You asked for data. Here is a few data. More follows later (it takes >>time to play 40/120 games if >>you have to do it manually. I guess anybody knows this from old days >>before we had auto232- >>device). >> >>Have fun :-) > >Interesting games (no sarcasm!), thank you. I am looking forward to >these hundreds of games played manually. I know it's no fun. I have done >it for a couple of years, a long time ago. > >Nice to see you collecting data. :) > >Enrique
