Please don't shoot if you think I am thick! I think that the King believes that it is playing it's next move, not a true ponder. Then the King thinks that it's time to move and the ponder stops (or gos to the next move). I say this because the ponder time seems to depend on the current time control setting. Would you say this is a decent description of what's happening? Regards, BK
