The King version 3.12 with A) WinBoard adapter from 23.11.00 I make the first move ... 01. e3 The answere by TheKing is 01. ... e5 Now I make not a move and looked only in the GUI which move TheKing analyses in ponder mode: I saw: Ply 5 ... ply 6 ... ply 7 ... ply 8 ... ply 9 ... and here TheKing stoped with permanent brain. In TaskInfo I can see 0% processor time. --------- B) WinBoard adapter from 24.05.01 (no changes in the configurtion) I make the first move ... 01. a3 The answere by TheKing is 01. ... e5 Now I make not a move and looked only in the Fritz GUI which move TheKing found in ponder mode: I saw: Ply 5 ... ply 6 ... ply 7 ... ply 8 ... ply 9 ... and here TheKing stoped permanent brain and start permanent brain for black move 03 !!!! But I play not my white move 02 in the position after 01. a3 e5 ... Maybe it is a mistake in the WinBoard adapter from Chess-Base ... think so at the moment ! Best Frank
