Yes very interesting to bring this up without checking first.

You must be referring to FriarTuck. Until 2 or 3 days ago
it was running a crippled version of ExChess, with an
1850 rating.

I switched it over to Crafty to test the SE and it has been going
up ever since.

So to get a real impression of the strength, play it in a match.

I have good reasons to believe that tactically you will get your
ass kicked.
