Deep Fritz SMP code is broken somewhere. That's why I laughed when I heard it was going to be on an 8-way box. It would have run like crap. Unless Frans fixed it. DJ7 is my best option. It is also my favorite engine. It is what I have used on ICC since I got it (junior), which was about 2-3 months ago. As far as an edge, of course I have a slight one. One that's worth 60 ELO or so. Not very much considering...... But getting almost a 3300 rating on ICC in blitz, with Junior of all engines, is pretty amazing.
