No world chess championship that I am aware of in the last few decades has been decided in only three games. Almost all of them go at least 10 or so. As far as I am concerned Deep Blue quit before the contest was over. Did they make a good showing, yes. Are they the worlds champ, that remains to be seen and as they dissambled the machine right after the games so we may never know. Any one who maintains that they are the worlds best just does not know enough about chess tournements. That they beat the worlds champ in 2 out of 3 is on record, but that does not make them the worlds best. Bill
