I'm using a 2D board. My computer is a P4 2.26. I have an ATI Radeon 8500 128 MB
Video card. Yes, it happens all the time. This is especially annoying when
making fast moves and the piece just sort of quivers for lack of a better term.

As for changing the sound, I can't find anthing according to what the manual
says. The manual states ChessMaster help is where you look to change the sounds
to your preference - I don't mean the choices given within the game.

You didn't ask but I am using Windows XP.
