Since people may have gotten the impression that I was speaking for you, I think it is only fair that they get the impression that you are speaking for me. Neither is true, of course. We have different reasons for bringing him back, but the vote, such as it was, was to bring him back, so he is back if he wants to be back. I have to view this as overturning the previous decision, because otherwise I would have to put more preconditions upon Rolf. I could say that I voted to let him back in for the same reasons you did. This would be the politically expedient thing for me to do, which is absolutely not to say that this is why you have the opinion you have, quite the contrary. Although this would get us to the same place, and make some people happier, I do not think that this would be the right thing *for me* to do, because the person who would be hurt by this is Rolf, and he doesn't deserve this. If he came back as a paroled member, he might receive different treatment than if he came back as an exonerated member. I will argue from this point forward that he has been exonerated as far as CCC is concerned, even if this might give some (hopefully small) degree of offense to some. This is unavoidable, in my opinion. bruce
