Hi Larry,

I don't mind if you are getting a "little bit out of control" phantasizing the
forms of American democracy which seem to be the tasteless highlights of the
decade in the world of democracy. I just still hope that a least chess could be
a little island free from that.

My wish is simple.
To make my point quite clear: I don't like at all, how the American president
has dealt with his family or the American public, he may have been weak and have
done something wrong (by the way in a regard where not many nowaday people could
afford throwing a stone without getting a little paler at least).

But: I think it is not nearly as bad as what his enemies (among them someone in
leading role who would else not even be worth mentioning in *any* public
concern, and with a leading juridical comission member hypocritic enough to
disregard his own biography of adultery while juding others with a lot of
recognizible joy and zeal) meanwhile have made of all that in a spirit of a
gutter horizon hardly to be lowered.

When I open my (German) newspaper I am forced to read this republican
pseudo-democratic slime day by day, and I get sick even from smelling it from
far.

Please! Spare us the like in chess, find other metaphors and phantasies if
possible!

Most Europeans, from everyday people to leading politcians do not feel most
concerned about what your president did (it was bad enough), but about how a big
part of the American political public and how many pseudo-democratic media show
theselves endlessly avaricious for lowest forms of gutter communication, as long
as someone might stare (or starr) at it.

Finding healthy laughing very welcome else, I don't find anything even raising a
smile in what the hell is going on over there...

So please understand: I have to beg for some mercy for my European soul!
Please, please, please: spare us the way America deals with that.
It's rather the digustable beginning of the end than the beginning of democracy.

And what originally meant some relief for me:
It may have to do even less with chess than with democracy...

Kind regards
from Dirk
