I read by the Author of SmartThink that his program is over 2700 using Deep Fritz Opening. First I doubted him, but I decided to test SmarThink under Fritz8 GUI against Ruffian 1.0.1 both using (Fritz8.ctg) at 40/40 time control and so far SmarThink is winning by good margin W4 L1 D3 I will continue this match until it reach 20 games. This won't determine anything, but it is clearly indicating that Smarthink might be much stronger than Ruffian under Fritz8 GUI. It could be that SmarThink doesn't have a good solid book like Ruffian 1.0.1 but by using Fritz8.ctg opening book it gave SmarThink what is missing so badly. Pichard
