True, but for once try to see it from ChessBase's viewpoint: They have *two
products*, Junior 8, and Deep Junior 8 for twice the price of the single CPU
version.

So, if they would provide the *single CPU* version customers with an SMP engine
as a replacement for the missing Kasparov single engine, all the *Deep* Junior 8
customers will complain. Because they'll say, we have payed twice the price for
more or less the same engine (in this case, you can be sure that the additional
engines they got will - suddenly :-)) - not matter much anymore).

This is their problem.

Basically it was meant as an additional "goodie" which, as it turns out now, is
only available with the Deep version. So what? The prices are the usual ones,
not higher, you get the same as usual, engine & GUI... Big problem, sleepless
nights... :-)

Of course *all* people who bought Junior 8 would have bought it *anyway*, but
now - since that bonus engine is missing - a lot of people complain like "of
course" they wouldn't have bought it without that additional engine version...

(I'd be much more concerned about other things if I'd be a Junior 8 customer,
but I am not.)
