Hi Uli, staying up late, just like me? :-). What matters is not whether a program is a fake, clone, etc. What matters here is the fact that suspicion seems to be sufficient for pointing a finger at someone and even disqualifying a program thus ruining the programmer's reputation. Solely based on suspicion and, as stated by the commmittee, "circumstantial evidence". That is something I feel very strongly against. From what I know about List (played literally thousands of games against it with Ruffian) is that it is a very strong program that is a real threat to any of the "big boys". It is fast, extremely tough and stronger than Crafty by about 60-80 points. For some time it was a real problem for previous Ruffian versions (1.0.1 and 1.0.5) Just like you, I am expecting some hard evidence to be made public. Because this looks very ugly as it is now. At least enough to raise one's eyebrows. Djordje
