what? to what are you referring? I can't understand your anxiety. Chessbase
insisted that the Shredderengine which is delivered with Shredder classic GUI is
about 100 to 150 points weaker than Shredder 8? What's the problem? The author
of Shredder 8 has a contract with Chessbase? Do you think Ubisoft would allow
Johan de King to sell his version with another GUI and an even better book for a
lower price? I doubt so, that's totally understandable (One might of course
critizice Stefan Meyer-Kahlen of not stating this clearly on his page).

The second point is that Sandro "believes" Shredder 8 with the classic book is
about 50 points stronger than Shredder 7.04 with its classic book. What has that
to do with Chessbase?
