For people who would like too read some background on this Agatha Christie like
novel, "A Chess puzzle with missing pieces" some pictures etc. here on the site

He mentions that he heard that maybe only 250 Chess Challenger 1s were ever
sold, so if that is true the ones with plastic chess pieces must be very rare!

No mention of plastic pieces is made on the site, Ismenio has pictures of the
computer with plastic pieces but those are from a CC7, they seem to be different
from the pieces displayed on the box of the CC1 or CC3 that are clearly Black
and White and not exactly of the Staunton model that the later Chess Challengers
had.
