this is where we do not see eye to eye

my concern is only for dedicated computers
thats all i care to collect, play against and test with

even though you can attempt to get as close to possible to the Res with some pc
running as close to the Res with the same program..i simply am uninterested in
seeing the result

if the Res were to be tested by the SSDF and they played it only against the
weakest PC 's they can find and the result was a 2700 Elo for the Res...this
would be uninteresting for me an meaningless

pure collectors think a bit different then enthusiasts i think
i am a collector ..nothing more..nothing less.. and as such i will stay focused
on the hobby and not drag PC'S,Chess Crds,Modified computers or even humans into
the equation

last Year at Kaufbereun there was some discussion to bring a Human Fide Master
into the competiton

myself and other collectors cried out against it and thankfully the idea was
scraped

its really the same story for me

just as i object to play against PC's(or chess cards) i object to play against
modified computers
and i do not collect them
i can easily afford a modified V11 and i have 6 Elite A/g's boards i could
contribute to have its guts ripped out for the modification

simply not interested in it

Stay the True Course..
