Maybe you are new to internet forums (special interest ones), and it still seem
a bit unreal to you.
Anyway, of course, you may "question" programmers. But you should imagine you
are sitting right opposite them, too, and how they might feel. Some of them have
their livelihood at stake, too. That doesn't mean that you are working for them,
or that your post should affect things, and even if it does, it shouldn't be
your problem. But you would understand that they might get a bit nervous,
because the onus is on them to answer your post, and they should be a bit like a
protected species, when they go on show in the forum. AND, your post CAN make
some people decide "Well? oh no, ok, so I won't buy this one", because of an
unreasoned outburst about the particular program. And, it's not fair to expect a
programmer to protect himself each time this is done, when there is nothing
factual to which he can reply.
