In fact, Early on I wrote an email to at least Tony and maybe David explaining this... And got a reply back with the "we are sorry..." etc stuff... And I didn't think a bit more about it because they did say that the rules required that a programmer be present. However it does seem that that was relaxed... I will see if I can find the email correspondence in the pine files here...
