Again, the Itanium will NOT be a widely used PC processor. Just because Intel
makes it doesn't mean millions of people will use it. Intel says it might
release IA-64 processors for the desktop sometime in 2003. If you want one
before then, you better be rich.

This Itanium situation is exactly the same as the i860 situation more than a
decade ago. And notice how many people have i860-powered PCs. Zero.
