P.S. More suggested new Gameroom operations for CM9k... (sorry, not highly edited...) --Add an option to change the color of the chessboard background, because for optimum legibility it should not be the same color as the dark squares [as in CM6k] --Add a brightness adjustment option for the color of the chessboard squares [as in CM6k] --Add a simple one-key keyboard toggle operation, to toggle the chessboard to full screen size [as in early versions of CM and Sargon] --Add a simple one-key keyboard toggle operation, to toggle the Visual Thinking chessboard to a larger size (about 2X-3X larger) --The Thinking Lines window shows Current Move(s) only 1 ply deep. Increase to at least 3-5 ply deep [as in CM6k & prior versions] --Provide selectable font size and face (regular or bold) for everything. Using the default windows fonts does not give good user control. --Nobody wants to have the slowdowns associated with running multiple engines simultaneously, so do away with the multiple engines. There should only be one engine running at a time, in any instance. So there should not be White, Black, Chessmaster boxes to check on the Thinking Lines or Visual Thinking windows. Whatever engine is running would show its results there. Instead of those check boxes, simply state which engine is running. The engine running will be the engine selected for the player on the move. So it can either be Chessmaster or a defined personality. If a different viewpoint is wanted, then the engine selected for the player on the move can be changed via the Ctrl-G (Set Up Game Details) window, temporarily or permanently. The latter window may need a bit of modification to allow this positive control over the engine assigned to each player.
