yes ,...did exactly those steps above - at this point several times.    I have
win2k, so no need to make changes.  My first installation, I did not copy the
new code, although on subsequent installations I have.  I suspect it is acopy
protection scheme error as the result of my initial faulty install procedure?  I
have no other explanation The Chess Partner GUI works fine.,  I'm at a loss on
how this running under Fritz 8 GUI.
