Hi Rolf,

okay, we are both non native speakers and I do not know who is correct. I found
the following checking Leo and getting a link there:

Verseher einer Blockstelle? G. Hauptmanns ''Bahnwärter Thiele'' kommt mir dabei
in den Sinn.
The Oxford-Duden Dict. enthält ''block warden.'' Falls dieses sich auf die
Nazizeit bezieht, würde ich sagen, daß es sich um einen Parteifunktionär
handelt, der für einen Block verantwortlich ist und alle politischen
Verordnungen bis aufs letzte i-Tüpfelchen durchführt. Man nennt einen solchen
Tüpfelesreiter auf englisch WONK.

By the way there is a democratic vote system in CEGT. I would not have
introduced it when wanting to fix all.

Things should be discussed better by email. I tried, but some members of the new
group refused to discuss even before the split.
