Go up one level in this thread
I doubt the moderators after reading the post in question will even think twice about it. In my time I have accused the SSDF of being rubbish, there was a story when the 450 machines came in and all the programs that were being tested and thus on top of the list all seemed to be chessbase programs. We even had a poll question asking people if there was some type of agenda. Did anyone care about slander. A whole lot more worse things have been said about the SSDF, and Bert has denfend himself. I think on this matter that you may be the lone ranger of complaints in regard to this thread. The thread is harmless, the SSDF might have a reputation as being the devil in this regard. To say it is slander to utter rubbish and a waste of thread space. Further more, when you say to dance with the devil, it is simply a figure of speech. I could say that debating this thread with you, I am dancing with the Devil. Now what context would I be saying this in. I have no idea of your history, no problem with you. I am simply saying it in the context that no matter what I say you are not going to back down on your opinions. So if I am dancing with the Devil (you), it means I am putting myself in a bad position since I am sure not going to win the arguement with you, so for me to keep debating the point is pointless. When you Dance with the Devil you are putting yourself in a bad situation. And since you clearly state that this is the problem point, (which in my other post you pointed this out to me) Ed has had previous problems in his dealings with the SSDF, so for him to go back to them, He is Dancing with the Devil, or his Devil I should say. Which is very clear to me when I read the so called offending post. Its Ed's Devil, not everyone's. I would sure love to see (not) the day when Cigarette companies sue people who say, smoking fags is danicing with the Devil. Ohhhh Slander against Cigarette companies.
