Hello, I wonder of you could tell me how much RAM Fritz was using,
and what, if any the secondary time controls were. I have walked Fritz
into the poistion from the first game you posted, up to blacks 6th move,
where you said Fritz played the horrid 6. ... Nh5,. I have set the time
controls to 40/2, and given Fritz 20 Mb hash. It has played 6. ... Nd7
over thirty times in a row, evaluating the position as .09 in favor of
white.
Also, are you using the Powerbook, or no ? Please post the amount of
Ram allowed for each system, and wheter or not you were using an
autoplayer or playing manually. I have both programs, and would like to
be able to fully recreate these games. Also, did you play engine vs.
engine on Fritz 5, or were these games played on two seperate computers
?
Thank you very much for posting this information. Perhaps now I can
find out what is really going on. I will post all of my information on
these positions as soon as I can configure my programs the same way you
have done yours and allowed them to play out.
Sincerely ,
Scott Carmichael
