Chessmaster isn't targeted at the computer chess enthusiasts. Even if we made the assumption for the sake of argument that it is weaker, I imagine that most users would appreciate the GUI and the usable WinBoard implementation above anything else. >I don't know if any other program was that much weaker than TWO upgrades >earlier!
