ALL use the auto232 device ! The codes are open, no tricks. Any programmer has nothing against this device implemented. Nobody ever complaint. Why the hell does CHESS BASE the worlds leading company in making money out of computerchess get an exception ? They invent the wheel new and do not open their autoplayer. And the ssd-guys await that all other programmers who accepted thwe auto232 autoplayer do now accept this without beeing asked ??? No - when Fritz5 implemented the auto232 device, THAN anything is ok. Not earlier ! The decision : ChessBase is allowed to use an own interface is a slap in the face of the above named programs who implemented (BEEING FAIR !!!) the device. And supported own testing, ssdf-testing and freaks and testers. But this decision of ChessBase is a slap in the face. I don't understand that other people do not see this. How many programs do we have that succesfully implemented the auto232 interface ???? 20 ? So it is 20:1 decision !
