Bob, who is "we" the moderators ? I think if you polled the members you would
find maybe more than 50 % are interested in the activity, albeit speculation of
one of the historical great chess players, and in our life time.

Why can't this be a chess site ? Fischer is about chess. Oh I know he is not
about fail highs, fail lows, Alpha beta prunning, killer searches, extensions
etc.

The endless ever ongoing discussions about the unfairnes of the Deep Fritz match
I think should have been of concern to you and your moderator panel members. How
about the barbs that go on and on and on, each and every thread further fueling
more threads. And then there is the four letter word language that finds it's
way in here ? I complained about that! There was and is not consistency in
admonishment of these topics. Some are warned, others are not.

My displeasure with Bruce goes no deeper with me than his posting regarding
Fischer. I enjoy his posting about his program and all other post of his. He and
Christophe are but a few posters that I scan and read posts without even looking
at the topic as I know it is going to be of interest to me. Both of these
programmers have given at length description about their program, its history
and their mind set on the development of their programs. These posts were very
very interesting and appreciated.

Respect my point of view, it is just mine but do not continue this
discouragement of the Fischer thing.

Wayne
