Sorry to disagree, but I believe the thread is ok and (sort of)
does belong here.  The email was strong but sincere I believe.
If it starts getting "hateful" and nasty by all means delete it!
The guy was just expressing his feelings and opinions on a computer
chess related issue.   We've certainly tolerated a lot worse in
my opinion.

I don't agree with his sentiment though.  I got the email from
Ed and was not upset in the least.  He has a right to advertise.
Even if Ed picked names from CCC (which is possible for anyone to do)
I would not fault him for this.  The names are available and the
subject was computer chess.  But as it is, he did not even get the
names this way.
