There can be.  That player is the world's best _at that moment in time_ and
nothing more.  Someone better can _always_ come along at some random point in
time and change everything.

Shredder doesn't seem to be _both_ at the moment, which was my point.  Shredder
won the WC tournament, Fritz 7 seems to be the top SSDF program...
