I tried to use my iPAQ to watch/analyze many of the >recent GM-PC games, and it *always* ran out of juice partway through the game. This is amazing. When setting my chess program on permanent analysis (100% processor usage all the time) and backlight permanent on I can use my iPAQ 3850 for almost 5 straight hours before entering the low battery realm. Given the experience with laptops and other mobile devices (like my earlier Psions) I was delighted over that perfomance! Am I a retard? :) I have carried it around for a week using it on and off without recharching, using all applications on board. Have I missed some spectacular battery developments? How does a Palm do in comparable circumstances? Does it indeed deliver 10 or more straight hours of operation with *continuous* and *full* processor and backlight usage? Wow, kudos! They should hire those Palm technicians for more household devices on battery power. J.
