My iPAQ is very bad; my Sony Clie is much better but of course has a slower CPU for chess. Immediately after an overnight charging, when I remove the iPAQ from the cradle, the battery level is usually reported as below 100%. I have a 3600-series device. I know they improved the battery a lot in the 3800-series (yours, for example), but now I wonder whether my particular iPAQ is defective. After a full charge, using Pocket Fritz in analysis mode requires only about 40 minutes to give the low battery warning.
