I have part of the database but with those terrible n-versions because of earlier broken contact etc. Of course it's also funny to know who lost contact, in what position and how often. Anyway, almost all lost almost all their games... The meaning above was just a result of careful reading and common sense. Of course I know what you meant. It was also a broad hint to be not too harsh with Vincent and his version of logical reasoning. It's not so easy after all. I prefer that he makes mistakes instead of behaving like a coward and hiding behind a wall silence which is a general misbehaviour so to speak. Perhaps I misinterprete your sayings but it seems as if you would take it as a form of character defect, but to me it's simply lack of basic knowledge. - However I can easily talk when I am not one of Vincent's goals. Nevertheless I would like to see you in the role of the friendly Dr who shows patience to all no matter how deeply they are mistaken. - Both tasks need a wise man: helping laymen and also explaining the basics to already big "experts in a narrow field". In both cases I see great importance in the description of interdependencies with the history of computer chess and the basis of real science. I would also say that correct style of debate is nothing that we are born with and common sense is often illogical. If not for Vincent it would surely help the silent readers if all kind of errors would simply be corrected without a personal reference. That would send the message, here you can also make mistakes, but you are not executed afterwards. Without mistakes many things could not be explained, so that we had to invent them if they wouldn't exist by nature.
