I am confident that Ed will support his dealers as he always has to take care of the end user, but if he does not (or cannot), we will certainly offer our customers something. I just do not yet know what that something is yet. This price war business may "seem" to be great for the consumer, but if you look beyond it, you will find that it may be very bad for the future of good chess programming. In my opinion, a support-oriented product like chess software really has to allow for some profit for somebody. I wonder what incentive Richard Lang will now have to continue toward his goal of introducing Genius 6? Or Mark for Hiarcs 7? Or anyone, for that matter. We will keep everyone posted. Please be patient with us. As you can understand, right now there is a fair amount of turmoil. I have not said any of the above out of greed. There is no longer enough profit in chess software for the retailer to get too concerned about losing potential business. Everyday I thank my lucky stars that we are diversified.
