I totally hear you! I never really played blitz games just standard games.
A little over a year ago I started Blitz/lightning games I was not good I gained
200pts and stopped cold on blitz and bullet 100 to 150pts ):
but that was in the first 4mths and now nothing!! its like my brain just won't
think any quicker, and you can go over games that you play do everything till
your blue in the face!one day your hot and next your cold!! I like standard time
controls! Another thing I do not like is loosing at blitz/bullet and when asked
your rating you have to choke out your master level and wait to "see" the
laughter :)))))!! I do think however that when faced with life size pieces and
over the board, it would be better because I do not like 2D or 3D pieces,also I
loose a real lot on time,and how can someone move 5 times in like a second!!
