personally i am not so happy with the opponents the Res-Ruffian faced for its
2383 rating

it gained alot of points against weaker opposition and did not even play the R40

so sometimes this "lumping of results" is a mixed blessing

also on these lists the version 2.5 R30 is lower then the 2.2 R30 which i think
is a bizarre result

but perhaps your right and the sample size is just too low to carry any
meaningful analysis
and as you know so well, it is hard to allocate time for these matches..
even only 5 games at 60 min is ten hours of testing

and i already have tested the Res more then any owner has

so maybe i should just wait for these ssdf results(assuming the matches will be
against other dedicated units and not PC Engines which is rediculous)
