Go up one level in this thread

Soory Martin,i am not a big fan of making leaping analogies to make ones point
its better to stay "on topic" i think
btw..Tom M ran the NYC marathon yesterday and i meet with him today

 >Nah, not exactly. Playing against other dedicated units with programs not
>available for PCs is only possible with the dedicated Res.

the fact that the engines are available to the PC makes no difference
other programs that appear in dedicated computers appear on the PC

Dave Kittingers Wchess appears in several of the newer Novag dedicated computers

i think the King v2.2 AND 2.5 appears in some of the Earlier Cmaster
programs(not sure which one) or if not exactly then close to it

why not test take a Sparc and play against the Cmaster 3000 OR 4000 and try to
infer the rating for the R40?

 Same applies to

OOPS more analogies
:))

not the same IMO
i am a hobbyist of the originally released dedicated computers
therefore my interest is only to see dedicated computers VS dedicated computers
this is why i object to the use of the CM Shroeder (even though it is similar to
the Tasc) in the .info ratings
and this is why i object to the inclusion of the V11,a modified computer

i guess the old saying we have here in the states will sadly ring true here

'IF YOU WANT SOMETHING DONE THE RIGHT WAY..YOU MUST DO IT YOURSELF"

sigh

More Testing Ahead Regards
Steve
