It will be able to play a mean game of chess. But it won't be as fast as a desktop box. The cores are of the in-order-execution architecture and will suffer a great deal when executing typical search code. The same situation is probable when it comes to other standard game AI code too. The car analogy is a fast car that doesn't handle well in a turn. MvH Dan
