Not exactly.

I see commercial programs that are not the best like ktulu so he can still
continue to improve shredder and sell it without being the best.

He may not be able to live only from selling shredder but it does not mean that
he will have to stop improving it but only that he will not be able to work on
it in full time job.

It is possible that you simply underestimate the opponents and I am not going to
be surprised if they are going to improve by 100 elo.

Rybka1.2 is supposed to be 50 elo better than Rybka1.0 and is going to be
released in february 2006 based on vasik and Rybka1.2 may be improved in 2006 so
if I see 100 elo improvement in the middle of 2006 relative to rybka of today I
am not going to be surprised.
