>Nice book, the "Zen..." Also the Petit Prince. I am not so fond of >Fromm, though. Ok, I meant Citadelle by Exupery, but this should be no difference, only a degree difference because in the one book le prince is young, in the other book the prince is adult. All these books have ONE spirit, the idea is another quality than a fact. The value about a fact is more than the fact alone. >Why do you mention results, then? Why questioning them? I am not fighting results with results. I am fighting results with games. I questionize these results. Yes i do. Because IF fritz5 would have THIS elo they announce, it would have to play much better and also more succesfull on my machines too. Neither the games, nor the results reflect this ELO. You can now say I am biased. But I have heard from others the same judgement. You can now say they are biased. But one day you will have to correlate and reconsider it. >I know what you mean. Still, chess ends up being about winning games. >This translates into results, quantities, Elo. Right. But results say nothing about what happened. "He is dead jim" is NOT the content of the episode. And calling him dead is not the same like watching the episode although he is dead. The only way to find out is: watch the episode = watch the game. Than you have to study WHY it happened. I have the idea their is a trick... > >So, strong (quantity)? Fritz 5 is strong: scores well = high Elo. I don't think it is strong. Your formula is logical, but not true. Many things in our life are logical, but not true. >Soul? Well... not my favorite engine for my pleasure. Mchess, Virtual, >Rebel, Hiarcs I enjoy better. This is, IMO , not a question of TASTE !
