[ A joke ] > >Bob D. Depends on how many time you can spend. If you have 1-2 hrs per week like me then it's a life time hobby, yes. If it is your research project and you can spend 30+ hrs a week then 50'000 lines of code is not much. Important is to go for small and easy targets at the beginning. Using 0x88 you can easily get a move generator within a week of about 1000 lines of code. regards Andy
