This is totally against the reason Fruit released source code. If someone is
prohibited to try his own ideas what is the point of releasing source code of
chess engines?

anyway, when I use the free visual studio compiler I use the following compiling
flags:
/nologo /O2 /G6 /MT /W3 /GX /Ob2 /DWIN32 /EHsc

If this cannot help either try to cast the 64bit key to 32bit by yourself:

unsigned int key32;

key32 = (unsigned int)board->material_key;
entry = &Material->table[key32 & Material->mask];
