I understand. It's asking the computer to see further than it can see. But from what I've seen, it seems to be a lot more productive, than counter productive. I believe that in an endgame, this might not be a bad idea, or at least considers some thought. (DF is KNOWN for sac'ing pieces for pawns, in the endgame.) But on move 10, it's dangerous.
