Subject: amd mp or xp which is best for dual servers ?? (ot)

I am now ready to buy dual mashine but can't find big difference between these
to chips. Has anyone experience w/ both and could tell the difference I like
chess but need it to be mostly a db server using mysql or oracle must be
reliable.
