That is the easiest way I can explain it. We as moderators receive email daily complaining about threads where when we read them the person is attacking an idea instead of the actual person. Here is an example or a recent event. Wael attacked Harry over his Arena book calling him names, laughing at him, and so forth. Harry and others of course complained and we took action. Had Wael attacked _Harry's book_ and challenged his lines instad of attacking Harry personally, then people could have complained until they were blue in the face because I would have not touched his posts. Do you see the difference? Speech I have no problem with, _destructive speech_ is where the issue lies. Peter
