Maybe I miss the point.  Or is there a point when you want to test a version of
the program that is over a year old?  When there are many newer versions of
Crafty for the chessbase interfaces?

Feel free to whiz over to ICC and have a go at the most recent version, which
seems to be playing pretty solidly...

16.6 had plenty of problems...  The article did not say "crafty 16.6 is playing
weakly or makes positional mistakes".  It said "crafty ..."

And most everything said was bass-ackward...
