I think AMD will soon be an obsolete company. while intel has done the same
thing in the past they have always been flush with cash-they have cash reserves
of a few billions of dollars; AMD has debts of billions of dollars. it does not
matter that a theoretical AMD 2800 is faster than a real intel 2800. the reality
is that AMD cannot produce chips beyond 2200 .by the time they get round to
producing the hammer(that is if AMD is still an existing company)intel would be
on 0.09 microns and by virtue of sheer clock speed advantage will still remain
ahead of AMD
