I think in shuffle chess I would even do worse. All the familiar patterns for me would be gone. The computer on the other hand would just blissfully go about its calculating business. What is the consensus on humans vs computers in shuffle chess? Would an IM for example have a better chance in regular or shuffle chess? Any data out there or opinions expressed by those who play shuffle chess?
