I think in this case maybe 1) is closer to the truth

Assuming you mean Junior 5.9 or another program.
I see no advantage for white in the line;
Ne5 Be6 Bxe6 fxe6 Nf7+ Ke8 Nxh8 g6 b3 Bg7 Nxg6 hxg

Please post the line with clear advantage?
