When I drive my car, I don't try to watch until the end of the universe.
I only watch out the next 100 metres. Watching deeper, or trying to
watch until the end of the universe, would not make sense, and also not
help me when something crosses my way in the nearest area.
I would say - try further to calculate the universe from the beginning
to the end. I don't follow a theory that cannot be solved in man-kind.
It makes no sense. I better spend my time watching out the POSSIBLE and
try to find alternatives. Of course chess in finite. But I don't think
it will be finite to outsearch it so fast. So : you should maybe better
concentrate on the things you can do, instead of concentrating on the
things you can never do.

The one thing is the theory in mind. This is important. But only theory
!
On the other hand we have the life to live. And we should really try to
live it, instead of living strange theories out of mind.

And maybe one day we know what gravity is. And why planes fly.
But - since we don't know yet, we should not try to teach the public:
THIS is the one and only way to solve chess. Because:
we did not solve it. Only in theory. Only with IF this and IF that would
happen.
But these if's are not realistic.
